FedDev Ontario invests $5 million in CapsCanada® Corporation to expand capacity and create 50 jobs

CapsCanada® Corporation has received a significant boost with a $5 million investment from FedDev Ontario, aimed at expanding its operations and meeting the surging demand for its made-in-Canada hard empty capsules. This strategic funding, part of the Community Economic Development and Diversification stream, will enable CapsCanada® to automate production, expand its facility by 14,100 square feet, and diversify its capsule manufacturing.

CapsCanada will be presenting it’s innovative new Tamping Simulator tool at booth #3221 at the SupplySide West trade show in Las Vegas on October 23-27, 2023. Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies are able to identify formulation challenges prior to production and then save time and money in reduced set-up time and material once production begins.
